You can occasionally find one in W&W, although they are few and far between. I believe Wyvern has run into one before... usually in the desert area around the pyramid.
And Law's son Jason recounted the tale of Eribo defeating a red dragon back in the middle of January. They're very rare... so now you have something to go search for [img]smile.gif[/img]

For what it is worth -- I have only seen them on the path leading to the open sand around the pyramid. I have never seen them out in the sand. Of course I have only seen a handful so it may just be random, but I spend a lot more time in the sand area than on the path.
