hello everyone, i can't seem to get durlags tower or ulgoths beard areas to show up on my map. i've looked through old posts and tried looking around the bridge area, the zombie farm... i've tried starting with the mission pack, pretty much everything. do i need to finish BG before it the areas show up? this is my 2nd time through, my old TotSC was damaged so i bought the new BG that includes the sword coast, (wish i had the new version with the 3 discs rather than the 5 disc plus one for sword coast before yaknow?) i installed it later on on top of my old original BG game. i'm assuming it worked because i still have my saves, and now the sword coast menu pops up before i start.... please help me out.... thanks

To access Ulgoth's Beard, go north from the entrance to Baldur's Gate. To access Durlag's tower, leave the Nashkel Carnivel from the east.

i tried both, north from bridge, east from carnivel... but they didn't work...... what else do you suggest? thanks

Maybe north from bandit camp or south from firewine? Other than that I can't think of anything. Maybe it's a bug.

uh north from camp and south of firewine doesn't work either..... if i reinstall do i have the risk of erasing my saves? okok well i'll try it anyways...

Well then there is something realy wrong.If i remember right then you dount need to find Ulgoths beard Becouse you already see it on your map.You can get to it from the bridge Area.

well i reinstalled ummm... i didn't lose my saves but still no results.... uh... maybe i'll just play the sound track cd and have a beer.....
