I was trying to delete a Word document from a CD-RW a minute or two ago, when this error came up;

Error Deleting File

Cannot delete (essay name) Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use

OK

Any suggestions?

it is a write protected doc, make sure it is not password protected, did you make it, or was it a download? if it was a download, you probably will not be able to delet it, nut check on the properties it may give you some clues as to weather it is hidden or write protected

You can't delete from a cd-rw. You can only put it in a cd-burner and "format" it.

What if I only want to delete one file from the CD-RW? Won't formatting erase everything from the CD?
