Is this the same Bard's Tale that was just recently released for the PS2 or is it something else?
(Regardless, I can't help you with any information as to the release data--sorry )

i downloaded a demo for it the other day. not keen on the controls whatsoever. very hard to control the bard and the camera. probably better with a console controller. it might be a decent game otherwise..

I second that. They say the only good things are the humorous remarks, the music and the sounds. The gameplay isn't all that great. On top of that, the bard makes remarks about roleplaying cliche's, but the developers don't have an alternative for those cliche's! Talk about dumb!

Well i finally beat this game
i think it was pretty good except for the incredably repetitive combats; it reminded me of final fantasy in that you couldnt move anyplace without having to kill something. I played it the nice guy way through; has anyone played it the snarky way through? i heard there might be different endings with the snarky route. I opened 3 different endings with the nice one, i wonder if there are 6 total - dont think i have it in me to play through the whole thing again to find out. |
