is it just me or is there some obsession out there with duel classing?? i know it makes the most powerful characters, but when i see what peeps think thier ultimate MP party is, they are all Fing humans!! i always like to have a dwarf an elf, and maybe a half-orc and half elf... some peeps r soooo boring. anyways thats my 2 cents, i hope some out there agree with me.

It depends on your style, really. Those players who only have SoA generally prefer Dual-classing, while those with ToB go for Multiclassing. Both are extremely effective when done properly, but I wish that BG2 had given us characters that could be Dual-classed, instead of ones that were already Dualed.

thanks for the welcome lol
i personally think that more classes, if not all, should be able to duel class, and humans be given the ability to multiclass. one of my friends said that in D&D all races can multi and duel class... y not in BG?? |

Welcome mate..
If you want to create a Drow Paladin/Barbarian then you should buy a 3rd edition game, such as IWD2 or NWN..  I never played IWD so I have no idea if its 2nd or 3rd.
