I hit a strange bug I think. My samurai tried to complete the dragon arrow quest but Torin refused to take the arrow. I restartewd the game three times and he will not take the arrow. I'm thinking about killing him just like old King fry guy when he wouldnt make Dragon armor for me. Maybe I'll get his bow--My ranger could use a new bow and his is supposed to be made from an enchanted tree. Has anyone run into this problem before?

How many arrows has Torin in his inventory? Or how many other items has he in his inventory?

The inventory of an NPC has a limited size. If you fill it then you cannot give the NPC more items, be it a quest item. That's the usual explanation for problems with Torin.
If it is your case then buy some item(s) from Thorin. This way, you will make free slots in his inventory an you will be able to give him the arrow.

As far as the bow is concerned, it is nothing to write home about. Moreover, it cannot be blessed/enchanted. Killing Torin gives you no advantage.

Yes, try pickpocketing one or more items from his inventory (without his noticing). Then try giving the arrow to him again.

Or just try buying the dragon arrows back They enchant very nicely, and in the hands of a competent fletcher, they spell the end of money problems

You may run into the same issue with Talrik later on... keep this in mind then. He has an appetite for longtooth hides...

but only as long as you don't make too many enchanted arrows, or else the price number gets messed up if you try to sell it.

Good point, but how many do you make? I don't know if I've ever sold more than a couple hundred at a time... in any case, if you're in that position, divvy 'em into smaller groups and sell away

Each of my arrows is more than 2.5 millions of gold. I am selling the arrows one by one. I've never had too many arrows - about 10, it's more than enough

I don't remember the last amount I sold arrows for, but I know I sell 'em in bunches -- over 40 at a time wouldn't be uncommon for me. Interesting...
