Has anyone played this game, I was really dissapointed with the game and ending. I just want to check if there are differant routes you can take through the game. When compared with the other half-lifes this game is a huge let down. Please don't tell me the ending if there are differant way's you can go through the game please.

No I don't think there are any other routes through. Brutally short isn't it? I was pretty disappointed too. But then Blue Shift's got a bit of a shady past. It was originally intended just for the Dreamcast version of HL, which was mysteriously canned.

Looks like they just shoved what code they had done over to the PC and left it at that.

Dr Rosevelt jumps in the teleporter and then you do, your screen flashes green and you're sent to random places and then you go back to the jeep and thats it.
I didn't see any new aliens or guns, what a rip-off! It was a third of a length long then the other two half-life's.

Indeed. That was the ending I got. I really hoped there was more but from what I've read/heard, that's your lot.

Lame huh?

The only possible upside to Blue Shift is the High Definition pack, which makes the game look a lot prettier (for all 3 incarnations) if you have a decent 3D card.

However, I'm not sure that's really worth the expenditure.

I liked it, only paid 19 DM for it and the HD Pack made my Half-Life look sweet! I think it was worth the around 10 bucks I paid for it.
