Right. I'm going to tell you a riddle. The first to post the answer gets the right to post the next, and so on. If there was ever an opportunity to demonstrate your prowess as an all-round clever clogs, this is it. Ready?

'I have no tip nor middle,
Yet I hold bone and skin;
I hardly ever make a noise,
And yet my name's a din.'

Tancred,
Would the answer be... "a ring?"

I've never read Fighting Fantasy (is it good?) just lucky.

Try this one on for size:

Pronounced as one letter,
Written as three,
Two letters there are,
And two in me.
I'm double, I'm single,
I'm black, blue, and grey,
I'm read from both ends,
The same either way.

Ok here it goes.

Think of words that end in GRY. Angry and hungry are 2 of them. There are three words in the English language. What is the third. It is something everybody uses everyday. If you've listened carefully I've already told you the third.

It's gry mate.
This one is well tough - must admit I wouldn't know if I hadn't heard it before. A Gry is a unit of very small measurement. Or something very small
