HELP HELP!!!

I have completed the task to kill the lich in the Dorn's Deep, when i went back to the ghost to get Jamoth's axe and the key, he didn't give them to me, all he did was just disapper, i got seom exp for completing to mission but other than that i don't ahve anything else, i need the axe and the KEY to get to Wyrm's Tooth, plz any help would greatly be appreciated!

Go down the stairs and check the big forge. Try looking at the middle of the big cauldron.
