Fell Woods Lock-Up (slight spoiler warning)

That said, I've experienced a rather frustrating bug in my game after completing the last fight here with the four treants. I apologize if I'm asking a question or reporting a bug that everyone else already knows about, but I conducted a search here and checked the official boards as well, and I've yet to find anything.

After I kill the four treants at the end of this area, the screen advances to show the forest opening before my party, the command bars gray out, and time increments, but the game, or maybe the script controlling this part of the game effectively locks up. I've tried this several times, and every time the result is the same. The only way I can get out of the game once it has done this is by hitting Alt-Tab as no keyboard commands seem to work either (not even escape, so I can't access the game menus).

I'm running the 2.01 patch on a fairly decent system (P4 2.G, 512 RAM, GeForce 2 Pro, Windows XP Professional). I've had a couple other problems with the game (mostly issues addressed in the recent patches that it seems quite a few people have had), but this is the first time it has ever become completely unplayable. I'll be posting on the official support boards about this if I can't get it working, but Ironworks has always been a great resource in the past, so I figured I'd ask here as well and see if anyone else has experienced this.
