I really only have this one:
Would? by Alice In Chains. Know me broken by my master Teach thee on child of love hereafter Into the flood again Same old trip it was back then So I made a big mistake Try to see it once my way Drifting body it's sole desertion Flying not yet quite the notion Am I wrong? Have I run too far to get home Have I gone? Left you here alone If I would, could you? [ 06-07-2002, 09:31 PM: Message edited by: Moni ] |

My three in no particular order:
NOFX - The Decline Length: 18:21 "Lost the battle, Lost the war, Lost the things worth living for, Lost the will to win the fight, One more pill to kill the pain..." Poison The Well - Momments Over Exaggerate Length: 3:14 "Cursed with never being seen in your dreams, I'll walk around dead to you, I'll lie around dead to me, I feel soon you'll wake with imaginary dreams, And wanting to hold this... hold this... memory..." -And either- Mushroomhead - Ego Trip Length: 6:04 "With a guilt ridden frown, Hidden smiling deep down, Laughing at the crowd, Nauseating sound, As the blind lead the blind on a crusade for sight, Corralled in the corner, This leash is too tight, I can't keep up this act, Please expand the role, Choking on dialogue you've all heard before..." -or- Mushroomhead - Never Let It Go Length: 4:38 "Everyone crawls to someone, Some run to the puppeteer and volunteer to become one, But who pulls the strings that you are attached to? Who pours the gas that you are the match to? Strive for perfection and strike with precision, Soon it blows up in your face and the smoke blurs your vision, But now you're fading fast, Maybe your time has passed, Bound and gagged as your dragged to the typecast..."

I'm sure we did a top ten about a week ago! Go there if you're interested in what other people think, including myself.

I Come From the Water, the Toadies -i come from the water, that weren't no easy thing, it's more than nature, it's like my destiny... 3.) I Am, Diffuser -i am faith, i am hate, i am no one but me, i am hate, i am shame, i am someone to be [ 06-08-2002, 02:23 AM: Message edited by: Gammit ]

I've always liked:
One Rode to Asa Bay by Bathory “And though he did know already Though he turned face towards sky And whispered silent words forgotten Spoken only way up high Now this house of a foreign God does stand Now must they leave us alone Still he heard from somewhere in the woods Old crow of wisdom say ...people of Asa land, it's only just begun...” Shores in Flames by Bathory “Mother winter leaves our land And opens wide the seas The lukewarm breeze does beckon me As it whispers through the trees It says: Set your sails And let me take your ship to foreign shores Take farewell of those near you And your land of the North! The wild cold deep black ocean's waves Invites my hungry heart Cry not my love I'll return Only death can keep us apart” & Journey Through The Dark By Blind Guardian. |
