Since it's slow here, I may merge this forum into the Gen Con forum.. (also merge TV/Books/Reality TV into one--again)

If posts don't pick up a bit..

Illumina says yea. This section is starting to stagnate- it's probable that CE-related threads will get more traffic if the forums merged. It's been tempting to post CE-type stuff in Gen Con, but... well... you may have noticed, but I'm a bit of a stickler :p

dont mind merging. current events atm is abit too against forum rulez like religion and nearly all big news link to that.

I have no problem with that, pretty slow in this one. I think originally it had to separed due to events that drew close to the realm of religious beliefs, and topics were kind of heated such that mods had to often step in. But I haven't seen a really hot topic on here for a few years now that drew much fire from opposing sides of the topic in awhile.

I think that a separate media forum (combining books, TV, and such) would make sense. Merge CE back into GD, too... seems to me that it started a bit after 9/11, when that talk generated a tremendous amount of traffic. That's dwindled down quite a bit...

It's obvious to me from the heated responses to this thread that there's no major interest or need to keep 'em separate...
