If so, where do I get the latest drivers?? Heeeeelp! (spell nimations are slightly clunky, is this the reason or do I just need a newer graphics card?)

 Ermmmm, I am pretty sure that when you installed the game it asked you if you wanted directX 6. If you said yes, it will have installed it. Not sure, but I don't think it would have installed game without it! May be graphics card. A way around that is to reduce res, I think. Also, in modify graphics screen, it helps to turn off the 'weather' effects. You probably get the REALLY clunky effect when a lot is going on/lots of npc's/enemies on screen. I don't recall it asking me if I wanted to install DirectX during the installation actually... *shrugs*
Anyway, my comp was telling me that I had DirectX 5, and it is running faster now with DirectX 8... Does the sys requirements not say at least v7?
