I have TUTU installed. I play BGI as Hardcore so when I die I start over.
I want to start a halfling THIEF, now I was wondering if it would be wise to make an assassin over a plain THIEF? Would I get the bonus to backstab in BGI? I also only get 15 for skills per lvl, is there a cap on lvl with TUTU? So should I make the assassin or make a vanilla THIEF and build up the skills for BGII? |

You won't be seeing the bonus to backstab in BG1, that comes into play in SoA (it improves with level, so you only get the bonus when you're fairly up there in SoA levels)
The poison ability will be godly though.

yes, he will do a lot better than a regular thief. and Neo is right...the poison weapon ability will be your best friend when your thaco improves a bit.
