hey!

i'm posting this message on this forum as well as on the other forums concerned. i loved bg2 and iwd1. will start iwd2 shortly. i've also tried my hand at bg1 but that will have to wait. apart from how and totlm, are there any other games similar to the ones mentioned above that i can consider to purchase. i hear nwn needs quite a bit of ram compared to bg and the like. is this true or can i consider it too?

thanks.

That said, a single post in GD or miscellaneous games would've been a better idea. Multiposting is frowned upon here and besides makes it more difficult for us and you to follow up.

Don't forget about the expansion of BG1. The dungeon is particularly outstanding, perhaps even better than the dungeon on the BG2 expansion.

thanks guys!

zfr:
i didn't intend to do any harm. i couldn't think of a better way to post the message so i did it this way. especially since i guessed i myself do not check the gd regularly so did not expect a lot of others to do so either. will refrain doing so in the future.

magness: expn to bg1....is it totsc? i haven't got it. but then i haven't played the whole of bg1 itself so guess that'll have to wait. anyhow is it a free download like totlm for iwd1?

thanks again!

If you can find Temple of Elemental Evil for cheap I would say it's worth playing through - just go in expecting some bugs, a pretty short game and not the most engaging plot and you won't be dissapointed. But the 3rd edition turn-based combat engine in TOEE is the best anywhere hands down and thus the game deserves a look IMHO.

Serak, the BG1 expansion was "Tales of the Sword Coast", and was not a free download.
