1. Fish and Chips by the river (falls in with the picnic idea)
2. 10 Pin Bowling
3. Mini Golf
4. Walks in the park with the Dog
5. Outdoor Movies in Summer (usually cheaper than regular movies)
6. Drive in movies (uaually Cheaper than regular movies)

Not to hijack the thread, but what's the difference between an outdoor movie and a drive in movie?

Hmm, not sure. However, we used to have "Theater in the Park". Haven't heard of it for a while now, but it was always free/cheap to do, if you're into that kind of thing. Bowling is cool, if you're in to it, and it's reasonable as well.

Drive in you are in your car

Outdoor you are usually in a park with a picnic blanket.

Driving used to be a good date, but not so much now, with gas prices what they are. It's not even cheap to go M/Cing any more.

My Wife and I walk around a local lake sometimes. It's very nice.

Balintherlas' idea isn't a bad one either. Do it someplace you usually don't.

Lots of great ideas! Thanks and add as you like! I'm going to have hubby take a look at them too.

Not too many places we could walk to here, but a general walk around the neighborhood is an option. I like the mini golf and bowling ideas, though not sure how my husband is on bowling, we've never gone since we got together. If the weather would cooperate, a picnic sounds like fun, too. Same for the concerts and plays in the park...we're in thunderstorm season but later it might be fun!

I love to just go for a drive in areas we haven't been but RTB had a point about the gas prices going up lately. LOL, parking.... hmmm.. we've done that in our own driveway a few times!
