My friend gave me this program, don't know if you heard of it, it's called Windows 98 SE, and he said SE stands for Super Edition!!!!
It says it gives great protection for whole PC, so I think keyboard is also included. I'm not scared of any spill.

LOL!

And I hear that if something does go wrong, such as a spill, Bill Gates will personally come to your house and clean it for you

Wait until it's all dried up and then use hairspray and a lighter.

a few days ago I hit my bottle of coca cola and it was going for the laptop. I saved it by reflex but it was empty.

I feel sorry for you but I hope it will be alright, it is a easy thing to do.
I heard of one guy who spilled hot soup right over his computer, he was sitting over ventrilo or something, and he said "should the soup be this ho...ARGH I SPILLED RIGHT OVER THE COMP *user has disconnected*"

Well, I spilled softdrinks, milo, beer, wine. I didn't bother to clean it. I just go buy a new one. Good thing keyboards especially clone ones are cheap.

Funniest thing I've read in a while. Thanks heh.

Well, I tried the whole 'leave it for a week and see if the pixies fix it'... but to no avail. The damn pixies hold no love for Dave it seems.

I'm going to TDC's house tommorrow evening to woo chat with his wife, oh, and to see him as well, so we shall see if his mad skillz can fix it.

Otherwise I'll just have to look like a complete tool and use a USB keyboard with my laptop. Gargh.

Anyway, if you get a replacement keyboard all should be well. Also, you may find that your laptop keyboard takes over sometimes... For example, I would be typing normally and all of a sudden lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll would happen until I smacked the laptop keyboard. Ultimately I unscrewed everything and cut whatever it was that connected the laptop keyboard to the laptop, and all was well. Do keep me posted on your progress.
Ahh yes, I remember seeing that pooooooor piece of equipment. It barely functioned, if I recall correctly. The idea of my laptop keys taking over sounds good actually, I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to improve the current state of annoyance in my life.

As I said, I will probably have another update after tomorrow night.
