thats a very good idea sb. if you can make it it will look really cool. my problems with face piercing is that any injury in your face can turn into a bloody mess. i have a couple of friends with face piercings (one in his nose, one in his eyebrow and lip) that got in accidents (well, one was a fight actually) and ended up covered in blood and the ring(s) nowhere to be seen. bad thing, not to mention all the laundry they had to make afterwards. no prob sb. you cant see it on the picture but it goes all the way to the middle of my chest. i got it whilst swimming near mar del plata (a beach in argentina) in a reefs area, a wave send me straight to them and i sort of rolled over one using my ribcage as a compass while i rotated. thats why it starts on the middle of my back and ends in the middle of my chest. luckily for me, it wasnt so deep. i did have around 170 stitches or somth like that, i really cant remember exactly. we could turn this into a scars thread. what are your scars? (location, history of it, etc).

My little brother has a very similar scar but it starts lower on his back, almost next to his spine and goes all the way around to his sternum. He got his from an operation to remove half of one of his lungs (cancerous tumor in it) when he was only 7 years old.
He showed the scar off at school telling kids that he went to the circus and volunteered to be cut in half and that they almost actually did it!

One of these days I'll get KHaN to take a pic of my rib cage...you can see through my skin where one side was crushed and now looks like it is missing a rib because of the fusion of two ribs further up my chest...you can't see the dent that the fusion created, that would be obscene.

I don't have any whopper scars like you do. Man that had to hurt like a mutha! I do have a burn scar on my arm though that people mistake for a major stab wound that was never closed...if only it had been that dramatic lol...all I did was flip hot grease onto it while frying some sausage patties when I was 13.

It actually looks like a snake and if it were possible to tatoo scar tissue, I'd have one done over it.
