I like W&W so far - its not as great as Wizardry8 but its fine for me - i have a party with average lvl6 and have finished the crypt...

Now - yesterday while reading another W&W info site - i found an AVI fix for buildings not clickable in the city...

Duh - i played the game for 5-10 hours and did not know that there is also a Bank and a Magic Shop in the first town - haha i always asked myself how my wizards can join a guild - well after applying the new AVI files for the town i could finally enter these buildings.

I'll be interested in checking out that patch. I recently upgraded to a 19" widescreen monitor, and it would be neat to use more screen space

this patch is not illegal and i dont understand why you dont want to download it from rapidshare its just a normal file sharing site were you DONT even need to sign up

I tried it but I was send from evil to devil and back without any success. That's why I wrote my post [img]smile.gif[/img] Perhaps, I was doing something wrong but I didn't want to investigate it in detail.
I didn't want to say that the patch is illegal, I meant sending the patch.

Welcome to the boards, Majin!!!

Very old threads are going to include broken links - that's pretty much unavoidable. The patch that was released shortly after the game is available on the Ironworks downloads section for W&W.

I'm being slow this morning so be patient - the patch you've listed is a NEW patch?? Something different than the old one??

If so, you might want to write to Ziroc and suggest that he add it to the W&W downloads!

this patch is not really "new" it will enable you to play the game in a resolution of 1296x1024 instead of 1024x768

this patch does not modify any game content - it only changes the ingame resolution
