People always talk about they hate their stronghold, but it never really bothered me. If you're a true adventurer, you shouldn't be spending a whole lot of time there, anyway. I'd rather be off smiting some evil than sitting around twiddling my thumbs in some stronghold.

Some of the strongholds are funny, though. If you attack someone in the thief stronghold, everyone starts yelling stuff like "The boss is on a rampage!". =D

Don't you just LOVE the stronghold of the rangers? We get to have our own cabbin in the Ummar Hills! god i just love the refreshing sight of the forest! Plus there's plenty of cabinet space!

Yea Paladins aren't interested in castles and keeps and towers and such, they are knights who go to battle evil, all they need is a place to hold their armor and go pray at Anything else is material that would get in their way of their duty.
