Found a New Axe

Was out questing for my assassin armor +4. Should be out in the chest and with a "critter" beyond "Oakenmir", however, I couldn't find it this time around. But I did find an axe that I have not seen listed before. A huge 2 handed battle axe, similar to the one's the giants carry, very impressive stats. 16 str to wield, 12-22 damage, +2 enchant, +1 to hit, fear, pefrification, and weighs 16lbs. The name says it all, 'The Devils Axe' I couldn't resist, so had to try it for awhile. Yeap, it's cursed, but I didn't notice any effects, the damage never stabalized, but was very impressive; anywhere from 58 to 175 in the open, and 64 to 235 while hidden, did not ry to enhance it as I was looking for my armor, so it's lost again, out there to be found by someone else.

I've gotten the Devil's Axe several times, but I've never really used it. Hmmm... your comments make me want to try it.

I have to admit I haven't gone much beyond the Nightblade and LongSword +2. What are everyone else's favorite weapons? Specifically, I'm interested in the pros and cons. For example, the ability to turn something to stone is pretty neat (I put a nice monkey statue on Kerah's altar), but once it's stoned, you can't get the XP for killing it.

So, to summarize: favorite weapon, things you like about it, and drawbacks you know of (if any).
