Well, some new developments have come up again. My mom found Mel's email. So naturally I emailed her, and so did my mom. She mailed be back and called my mom this morning. The mail I wrote to her was long, so I'll only say I was letting her know my dad was still married ect ect. Here was her responce:
Jennifer,

I spoke to your Mom this morning. For some reason I did not get your email. Probably a problem w/AOL or something here @ my end as this is a work e-mail.

I want you to know, & I told your Mom this, that I had no idea that your Dad was still married. He told me that he was divorced. I don't mess w/married men. I am terrible sorry for all the hurt & pain that you all are going thru; I can only imagine what you are feeling right now. I have been hurt myself in the past - quite painfully - so I would not want to put anyone thru that.

I will be seeing your Dad this afternoon when he flies in & I'll be confronting him w/all this. I believe that the best thing is that he goes home to his family & gets his life sorted out & his head on straight. From what your Mom told me I don't believe that your Dad really wants to break up his family - if he did he would be acting differently. I think the stress of living 2 lives over these last months has finally gotten to him.

I told your Mom that I will call her later tonight to let her know what happened.

Jennifer, I know that this inadequate, but the only thing I can offer you is my apology for all of this. I hope that you & your family do not think ill of me.

My mom said if the circumstances were different she sounds like someone who would make a good friend, and I agree. They talked for like an hour and a half on the phone this morning...anyway I'm going to send her a mail of thanks back. I guess anything could happen with my family at this point.

Hmmm, it's abit messed up though. It sounds like your dads future won't be too good. I mean, would your parents get back together after all of this?

When we first found out I would have said yes. Yesterday morning I would have said no, and now today I say I don't have any idea. As Mel said in the email, she wants nothing to do with him now, so his only place to turn is back home, and my mom is willing to hear him out...I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Wow, that's very convoluted, Jenn. Well, I'm moving out tomorrow, and I gotta get a meningitus shot tonight. Just curious, I guess Attalus can answer this: Are these shots in the butt?
