No Valygar is terrible.
Where is Minsc.
If you need another, Mazzy is happy to help.
Korgan is evil so maybe not!
Anomen is really good.
He can put 5* on the Crom Faeyr!
Fighter/Clerics are way better.

I would suggest Keldorn, but primarily because he can use Carsomyr--the best sword in the game. (Realy an awesome sword)

I disagree. That's basing the character around the weapon instead of basing the weapons around the character. The same goes for Crom Faeyr, it's just not needed, you get it late and imo it's pointless wasting all those good items and assigning proficiencies for a weapon that is just totally over the top and could be put to better use elsewhere earlier on. Keldorn is one total shite NPC imho with the most pathetic quest in the game. The Warblade 1D12 +4 is a pretty mean sword (although not as good as Carsomyr obviously) and doesn't require wielding by some pathetic ponce that can't even keep his missus in check. I'd probably go for Minsc the Ranger if you feel you need a party of six. Alternatively just run with a five handed crew and your characters will receive a little more XP after each battle.

BTW, Korgan is one of the best if not the best fighters in the game. He starts with Grnad mastery in axes, and you find a lot of good ones early in the game. And he also has one point already spend in warhammers, so you can develop him to get Crom Fayer by the end of the game. Plus if you take him to ToB, you ll propably manage to become proficient in dual wielding as well. Crom Fayer, and a good axe, both at Grandmastery, make for one hell of a killing machine.

I agree with Cavern Sniffer, Keldorn is over-rated. Carsomyr is a very cool sword but Keldorn is not really all that as a fighter...want to use Carsomyr, just make you own Paladin (I recomend the cavalier kit for all those dragons) and have at er'

I'd vote for Keldorn - his dispel magic ability (at *twice* his level - he's now level 12 so he dispels as if he was at level 24) has proven very useful in the battles against mages/magic users. Ditto for his true seeing ability - useful for when a mage casts a spell and disappears (shadow door?).

Everyone seems to bag poor ol' Valygar but he is a ready made for dual Katanas -Celestial Fury +3 & the Corthala Family Blade +2 as he has Katana** & 2weapon style**. These two weapons can do an awful lot of damage.
He can also use some of those nasty spears you find in mid game - just add to his 2HandedWeapon proficiency.

He has high hit points & a high dex 18 (Keldron is only 9 unless you boost him), He learns some priest spells and is incredibly stealthy.

I suppose he really needs to get some better armour; I remember someone mentioning decking him in drow armour. His major problem is that he wants to discuss the philosphy of good and evil of magic in the middle of a fight.
