In chapter 5 of IWD after i get the key from the ice salamander leader i enter the door and into the icy area and try to take the southeast passage but it crashes the game always and i get the message "error insertion failed at line 7%%% !!! Can i still get to the end? is there a fix for this? im using unpatched version, this happen to anyone else? Please Help

hmm, the only suggestion I can think of would be to clear the cache directory in your icewind dale folder, then reload the game..maybe even an earlier save. Downloading the patch may also help..check the readme.txt for fixes. Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks but i solved the problem, i did a search and found out that this problem had been reported among some people using the UK version of the game, so i found a special patch and it works now! Thanks
