Well if you really want an edge, go to the custodial staff at your local college and offer a nickel each for the orange caps with a code. Most college custodial staffs are paid so poorly that many janitors pick out any deposit bottles from the trash they collect.

Sounds like the Walkers competition in the UK, every 5 minutes in September someone won an iPod mini by texting a code in found on a packet of crisps.

I texted in at 3am and 5am and no win

perhaps i missed some kind of progression in this conversation to underwear...

Anyway, we have the same competition here with coca-cola, or you can save up your code numbers on their website, (larger drinks are worth more points) and exchange them for tickets to concerts etc, and you are guranteed to get them.
So it's a chocie between a gamble of something shiny and electronic, or something guranteed.

[edit]
our competition ended a few days ago it seems

Yeah, its too bad Pepsi does not have a deal like Coca cola, as me and Horsimus go through about 2 36packs every week and a half

My sister ended up collecting every single label she could find from coke bottles, she even went into the trash to fish them out! And by god it was worth it she ended up winning a mini ipod that has voice record, am fm radio and a lot of hours of music.
