Willow, I am praying for your father and your family. I hope he continues to show improvement and has a full recovery.

Thank you MagiK. I am a nervous wreck. Reading your post was enough for me to start crying again. It looks so promising at the moment and still I expect the phone to ring any minute bringing dreadful news.

Attalus, thank you. I never knew it could hurt this much. The worst part is that the neurologist said the stroke was rather large. Hopefully he will pull through with a minimum of consequences. Thankfully his cognitive abilities haven't been harmed. He has no problems with talking, if one disregards that he barely can talk it is all a blur, but he still has his vocabulary and his memory seems to be intact. I hope I will feel better tomorrow when the first 24 critical hours have passed.

Antryg, thank you. Once again I must point out that our community is the best. So much love and compassion on one tiny spot.

A big *HUG* to all of you.

Willow, I know how you feel, just having gone through this with Galadria's mother. If he is moving, perhaps it will prove a light one. Hang in there, you have all of ourt prayers.

Hang in there Willow -

We are with you in thought and spirit. My Dad went through the same thing. It is hard. It sounds very encouraging and that you got him help early.

We are here for you.

Willow, deepest sympathy and well wishes. I know how rough it can be dealing with a sick parent. Take care of yourself and your family. We'll be here whenever want or need us.

*big hug*

Thank you Nisght Stalker and Mysticelt. I managed to grab 30 minutes of sleep. Stephen has urged me to consider sleeping aid but I do not wish to be dosed out if something should happen. My father has now been stable for 12 hours and counting (and I can tell you I count every minute). The silence is unbearable but as long as there is no phone call there has been no negative change.

Jackie and Josh are now at Stephen's parents. I must say I feel terrible since I made Jackie cry when she sat in my lap. I couldn't control myself and burst out into tears and she followed. I don't think she understands more than "grandpa is very sick". I must say I envy her some. OK I'm off to see if sleep comes easier this time with Stephen beside me. Thank you all!
