I've been thinking. Many of you who have been on this forum since it was created might remember my RP Waterdale. It was done twice, both failed. I was just wondering if I should start it again on this forum. I've got most of the game already pre-made, just need to finish it. However, everytime it dies out, and quick.

And due to the ever disappearing Online RPing community in this forum, I'm wondering if it is actually a good idea to start it again. I have another forum candidate that would seem to get more players, but thats all I am saying.

So I want an honest opinion. Should I try to run Waterdale on IW, or another place?

I'd join! You could at least try to start it here. And, if it dies out, just restart it at the other community ^^ It's sorta a hit or miss thing, I think.

Do a search for it, or look back way in the history. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Skydrcgrrl thanx for the idea.

I seem to remember participating in one of your games (250 was in it), SecretMaster But I can't quite remember if it was the Waterdale one. Anyway, I would participate in it if you should decide to run it.

And about games dying, don't take it personally. I should know; my Restaurant and Arcania's Fall games drifted off to no-man's land too. Sometimes members get too caught up in real life, and have to drop out for one reason or another. Skye's suggestion is therefore good

this is somewhat a ramble, but i must reminisce about mistral's Restaurant rp game. *sniffle* I loved the char I made for that thread too... but then the thread had to die!!! *GRRR*

It's not a reflection of the DM's gaming abilities if their thread dies. It's more on the personality of the gamers participating (ex: to they live on the internet, or are they on once a week?) and what happens in their lives (like vacation in the wilderness!)

Awww, Skye... thanks for remembering my Restaurant and having made the effort to create a special character for it Too bad it had to go

Let's wish SecretMaster great success in keeping this Waterdale game going.

Id like to see Waterdale work out. Or at least come to some end than nothing.
