I am chilled. I'm not mad with anybody.
I'm just putting it out there. I for one do not like web sites that attempt to pre-install stuff. I only allow javaX on sites that I understand.
Now when my firewall goes into a 3 alarm sequenece, that is something to get roused about. For those of you that do not know. JavaX is a programming language. JavaX can allow another program(insert: worm, trojan, e-mail expander) access to your computer once it has started it's sequence. The rest is history.

Again, I'm not mad with anyone except for the jack that sets his site with not 1, but 2 javaX sequences, followed by an autoinstall .exe

Oh, the freaky wheels.

I am using Firefox and the page didn't ask me to install anything and there is no alert from my ZoneAlarm Pro. I guess whatever spyware/dialer the site is trying to install only affects IE and other browsers only.

Go Mozilla!

Yeah I didn't get any warnings either with Opera. Or maybe ZoneAlarm just blocked it without asking me.

I've got ZAPro installed, and it didn't raise an alarm, block anything, or anything else. 'Course, I did get the message about the language pack, but I turned that down... and had nothing else happen.

But I'm with Felix. People who put that stuff on web sites are really giving up their right to have DNA to begin with...
