Hello all! As has become typical for me, I am stuck without help. . .

OK, I'm almost through with the Serpent Temple. I used the incense, nectar, and wand to open up the mouth of the statue. I read to go in, flip the lever, jump and then go on. Problem is that when I pull the lever, I fall SOMEWHERE but have no way out of it! Its one of those weird scenarios where I can't look around much, almost like I'm stuck in something.

Am I doing something wrong? I've tried it 7-8 times from different angles of the room and with/without jumping. Any help you all could give would be great. Thanks again in advance.

I think it has to do with how much RAM your machine has. Others have had this problem in getting stuck.

Wyvern has been able to get people unstuck from this point before, I think. Wyvern, are you out there?

If Wyvern doesn't reply, e-mail me your savegame file (it's in the SAVE folder in C:\Activision\WizardsWarriors\ It should be something like gamexx.sav where xx is the number of the game slot. My e-mail is sazerac1963@yahoo.com. I can try to get your group past that point, save the game again, and send it back to you.

2) OK, zipped copy of savegame file. . . I'm not sure I know how to "zip" the file (i've only pretty much unzipped stuff).

So this is a RAM problem? Grrrrrr. . .

ccannon - next to my name you will see a nice little "letter" icon - that gives you my email address (which, since I'm not trying to be difficult, is: maiee@earthlink.net - just a handy bit of information to know!)

Do you have WinZip? start it up and create a new archive. You'll be asked to give it a name (wosname) then you will be asked what to add to the archive - just point the program to the correct directory and click on the file! DO NOT SEND ME YOUR ONLY COPY OF THE SAVED GAME - copy it to another directory for zipping so you still have a copy on your machine.

Hope I haven't confused you too greatly! (it's a gift I have)

Xignal wrote in an older message (http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...ML/003330.html):
Playing through for the nth time I was stuck again in the trap door/elevator. Tried something different this time - carried a crate to the room, had my dwarf stand on it, and then pull the lever. Swoosh - slid to the Naga - no problem.

You might try this. Others have gotten by with enough wriggling, selecting a small character (like a pixie), and jumping up immediately after pulling the lever.
On the other hand, Wyv will get you through too.
