looking for servers with cgi-bins

friend of mine is looking for a site that she can register her dormain but also must have a HIGH cgi-bin

many recommendations? [img]tongue.gif[/img] help advice please?

What do you mean by "High" CGI-BIN? Most all pay servers offer CGI access as a part of the 'features' you get..

For a Domain name, go to www.verisign.com and register a domain name there.. it's like $63 or so for a 2 year lease on names. I bought tgeweb.com and ironworksforum.com (And 1 other) with them--they WERE called Network Solutions. Verisign is the new name.

Main question is: what is she willing to pay? Or is she only looking for free webspace with a cgi-bin folder? In that case, good luck, cause there are none. None stable enough or not having policies allowing message boards, if that's what your friend is pointing at.
For paid webspace: try PHPWebhosting, which is only 10 dollars a month and very stable, you can't get much better ones than that one. [img]smile.gif[/img]

yep I know of Network Solutions

as for 'high' cgi-bin that it must handle the Oekaki board format

so the pictures carry high data and must be stored
