Some other classic Weird Al songs:

"Another One Rides the Bus" (Another One Bites the Dust)
"I Love Rocky Road" (I Love Rock N Roll)
"Like a Surgeon" (Like a Virgin)
"I Lost on Jeapordy" (Jeapordy by the Greg Kihn Band)
His best all time classic is "One More Minute"! An original song of love and rejection. Hilarious! Perfect for cheering you up when you've been dumped!

C'mon guys! I mean really! CULTURE CLUB?! WHAM!? Bleccchhhh!!! I hope old Georgie wasn't using that Karma Chameleon like a gerbil!

What about the classic long hair rockers!

Sammy Haggar! Van Halen! Dokken! Cinderella! Motley Crue! Poison! AC/DC! Faster Pussycat! KISS! Ozzy! Scorpions! Judas Priest! Firehouse! Bon Jovi! Queensryche! Ted Nugent! White Lion! Metallica! Iron Maiden! Badlands! Beastie Boys! Warrant! Alice Cooper! Whitesnake! Megadeath! Guns n' Roses! Etc, etc!

Now your talking my language! The 80's, oh what memories! The best band: Def Leppard or the Scorpions!
One Hit Wonders, yeah Devo was coo, but what about Dexy's Midnight Riders: Come on Eileen
The 80's had so many cool songs it's hard to just narrow it down to a few. Tom Petty, Van Halen, Dire Straits. I'm looking at my 5GIG collection now and just can't decide!
Gotta go with Def Leppard as the ultimate though. Hysteria and Pyromania rocked!

The 80's? THE 80's?!?!?
I swear somewhere back in history we made a huge mistake we payed for by the 80's decade. Home to hair spray heaven, the most ugly collection of clothes known to men and women, lycra tights for women AND men Then we get to the music, whatever travesty we committed to deserve this was surely a historical event, Vanilla Ice *shudder*, Hair spray panatheon of gods Bon Jovi, and to top it off they made the music videos! Those crimes against humankind.....wait I aint even going to go into this further, I prefer my mind to not be liquified by thoughts of that era.
Let us just say there were very very few redeeming acts of the 80's.

Ooh, good taste

Azure... actually the music you are listening to right now wouldn't exist if it weren't for the eighties. The first black and death metal stems from that period, and some of the goth bands above had their influence on metal as well.

Some of my own 80s favourites: Depeche Mode, Sisters, Fields of the Nephilim, Queensryche, The Mission, Dead Can Dance...

Does New-Age count?

Kitaro composed his four-album Silk Road series in the early 80's. Truly divine music.

Sure it did! The entire eighties was a slow recovery from the seventies. You should SEE some of the stuff my mother dressed me in when I was a little tyke! Beatles haircut! Ultra bright pastels in eye wrenching combinations! Horrid plaid patterns! Corduroy and bell bottoms!

For the love of all that's good, AN ORANGE BOW TIE!!!!!!!!!

AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a wonder I'm not scarred for life! Then again I do have this nervous twitch in my eye when I see the Scooby-Doo mystery machine!
