Trailers for the movie are available online. So far, it looks like it's going to be the best movie of the year hands down. It will blow away the lame cartoon version movie of years past. Have you guys seen the trailer yet? Post your thoughts and opinions about the movie in this thread.

It's premiering in London on December 10th. For once we are getting it first!

I saw the first preview for it months ago at the theater and was so inspired that I re-read my copy of the Hobbit. Then went to the library and got the first Ring book, just got the second one yesterday.

I read it years ago, but it's new and fresh still!

I can't wait for the movie.

I still like the Hobbit cartoon! It was for kids, and I was 10 or so when it came out. I used to love watching it everytime it came on television. It was my first introduction into the world of fantasy. I bought it recently and watch it with my kids, they like it, and I still do, too.

Donut, you'd better be going on the opening day since you started bragging about getting it first!!! I'll want details too when you get back home. I have my whole family going when it opens here on 19 Dec.

I have also started collecting the action figures that are on sell here in the US. Got the whole party but Strider. Still looking for him. Can't believe I'm a 38 year old man buy toys! But I am excited!!!

We don't wanna go to work today,
but master Sauron he says 'nay nay nay.'
We're gonna march all day, all day, all day.
Where there's a whip there's a way.
