I liked Bush's speech last night, and I think he chose the appropriate time and place to make it. I like it that he is being more open and candid with the press and is making speeches more often. I do think he is better in an interview than at speech-making. His response and discussion skills show a nice down-home honesty and are simply better than his reading skills (a serious comment, and not a bash -- he does not read his speeches as well as he responds to questions).

However, he has this problem with the word nuclear, which he can only pronounce as "nuke-u-lar." So, here's my poll:

Should Bush's speechwriters answer the clue-phone and quit writing this word into his speeches?

I have 2 major issues with this poll:
1) You're just going to provoke Willow by using that stick (or maybe that's your plan)
2) you mis-spelled off If you're going to slack-off, at least spell it right JK

I chose number 3, 'cause it had my favourite smiley in it. WORK!

I do feel sorry for Americans sometimes. Bush does not do your nation justice. Maybe there should be pretty pictures included with the cue cards, to help him out. Or will he just get distracted by them?

But I have to admit, sitting over here on my own little island, Bush has provided unlimitied entertainment in the form of piss-takes. And he always looks so upbeat, its hard not to warm to him the way you do to a puppy that keeps bumping into things.

I tried to edit it, but I cannot edit the poll itself. Oh well, I guess it will be yet another frame-able record of one of my many mistakes for me to look back on years from now.

You can choose 2 out of the 3 options. Neat poll feature. I put it in because my masochistic side was hoping for lots of whackyas.

LOL, that's the way that lotsa Texans pronounce "nuclear," though not me. I think he pronounces it that way because he likes ticking off the elites.

"Carribbean" is just spelled two different ways... and pronounced two different ways as well, now that I think about it. But the difference in pronunciation involves accenting a different syllable, not inserting a letter where it doesn't belong.

Nuclear. Noo-clee-urr. It's not that hard, honest
