Actually, I agree with Mel on this one. I found it offensive and I am in no way a feminist.

I actually found this funnier than the original post (which was quite amusing in places I admit). If you're typing something and want to take it back then the best way to do so is to just press the delete button. I presume yours isn't working as if it were I can't see any reason for you to have posted something you really don't mean...

It's the classic sucker-punch routine. She gets to take a jab at Link, while still appearing considerate and level-headed

Judging by Link's rather naive second reply, I reckon he needs to check a dictionary for the word "consent" instead.

And hey, maybe we should make jokes about paedophilia as well! That would be a hoot.

I don't see how not agreeing with rape makes one a feminist, Link!

Paladin, who are you to decide this thread should be closed?

Seeing as this thread is starting to become an all out flame war, I am REQUESTING for the moderator to lock it up. BTW, I didn't report any post to the mods... so, if any of them find the topic deemed to be locked up, it is their decision, not mine.

And before anyone starts casting level 20 fireballs at me, I better make a quick exit.

Ok... calm down guys... you don't want to get in trouble, yes?

Link, you are usually more composed than that...
Melusine, you did call Link stupid:

Look, I explained my reasons, if you are too stupid to see what I'm talking about then why bother replying?
Let's get back on topic...

I'm thinking it's all just a big misunderstanding... when I read the joke I came to the conclusion that "without consent" wasn't anything to do with rape but more I pictured a guy in bed sleeping while his randy partner was trying to remove his clothes and get him in the mood
