Course nothing in VT is that far away - but the Mtns running down the middle make getting around hard - like going from I89 to Rutland is pain in the ASS. Norwich is about where I89 crosses the mountains to the other side, IIRC, just a bit south of Montpelier.

Ahhh.... Nostalgia.
LOL, I know well where Rutland and White River Junction (and Montpelier) are! I used to take the bus from NH (my family was there then) up to Burlington when I was in college. We always stopped in White River Junction. I go through southern VT alot in the summer, as it's btwn me and my parent's summer place in NH.

TL - yes, it is a Military College. The oldest private military college in the country.

Cloudy - it is a gorgeous campus! It is a small town though, you have to go over the mountain just to get a cheeseburger! We spent many a weekend in B-town too when we wanted to find "trouble". And of course whenever we felt like a road trip, it was a short run to Montreal for even more "trouble"!

*Walks in with big bruise on forhead and black eye* THIS IS YOUR FAULT CD!!! Youw whacked me to hard with Ra's staff!! Hello guys. How's it going?I felt a WHOLE lot better this morning and I did'nt do anything to help my cold. That's really weird.A kid came up to a friend of mine to day at school and started talking to him(my friend,Tyler),some how the conversation came to this: "Man,me and Bradly(other dude) Could woop your @$$." That is how it all started. Tyler was walking home with some friends because he did'nt want to get beaten. The kid said he was going to get some friends and said that they were going to jump Tyler. He was walking by the kids house and the kid came out with some friends and that's how it almost got started. The kid said if Tyler laid one hand on him,his parents were inside getting ready to call the cops. This really makes me mad.Tyler backed off because he could have got in HUGE trouble.I feel sorry for him...

Ah, the unclouded joys of childhood.

Blessings on thee, little man,
Barefoot boy with cheeks of tan!
With thy turned up pantaloons
And thy merry whistled tunes.

Doesn't sound like James Whitcolme Riley ever visited Nowata.

Ah yes youth, and all its unfairness and aggressiveness....

I remember when I was 10, I had a neighbor friend called "Tootie" (yes that's right). Her family lived in a really small house, only had a kitchen, living room, and one bedroom. The bathroom was an outhouse, meaning, OUTSIDE LOL. Was disgusting, and bats nested in there at night they said LOL. Was quite your "Jerry Springer" family (they forewent the outhouse a lot in favor of the back yard) watch your step LOL. Tootie's Mom and Dad were drunks (rum was the favorite), daughter Tootie was in a body cast cause her shoulders didn't even up right, and they had a white chiwuawa (sp?) dog that was mean as hell, and had curly nails cause they had grown so long. Yee haw! Anyways, one Christmas day I had gotten a Pogo Stick (woo hooo, I'm chillin and coolin and jumping up and down, look at frikken ME LOL). So I'm like pogoing up and down our street (gravelled road) and when I'm passing Tootie's house, she comes out and starts to throw rocks at me. Well LOL, it is taking me quite a LONG time to pogo past her house LOL, so I'm like getting pelted pretty good at one point. So I lost it. Hopped off the pogo (which is made of steel btw), walked towards Tootie and just swung my Pogo Stick from right to left in a sweeping motion, it hit her legs, and she went down like a bowling pin. Realizing the damage I had done, I ran like hell back to my house LOL. So I beat up a girl in a body cast. Three cheers! So in this story I wasn't really doing the right thing, but merely thoughtlessly reacting. Don't worry though, later on I got mine back, Tootie's male cousin tried to punch me in the face, but he was too short to reach my face and I kicked him down a hill LOL, and later Tootie's parents took us to a fair, and Tootie's drunk dad tossed firecrackers in the back seat with us on the way (that was fun) and later the ferris wheel we got on broke down, leaving us with no belts (this was the 70's people) only holding on for our lives by hand on the bar in front of us. Had to do that for half an hour, our chairs were right at the TOP too, but tilted backwards, head down. Oh fun! Oh please let me go back to those wonderful days of youth!

Just looking at a Chihuahua makes me want to laugh

How is everyone?

........ I'm very annoyed!

I spent an hour compiling different songs onto a CD and when I tried it I found that during some of the tracks this loud crackling plays throughout the WHOLE track! Ahhhhhhhh I'll have to do it all over again
