Are pullups the same thing as chinups? I can do five of them.
I can run a mile in about 7 minutes, do maybe 30 pressups and maybe 60 situps. |

What's pullup?
Forever. Is this same as bumping? Not sure Ever since my injury, I seldom exercise anymore. So I don't know if I can still perform those like I used to. |

Pullups? Last time I actually did them was in 9th grade, about 7 that time.
Probably less now, but who knows, I've stayed relatively active. A mile run? Took me close to 15+ minutes in 9th grade. Don't know about now. But I can Bike 5 miles in under twenty minutes. That's without a motor btw. Pushups I did 50 last time I tried. Didn't bother to go beyond that. Sit-ups I don't think I've ever really done one successfully. But then I don't think I'd want to. My last Phys. Ed. teacher said they were supposedly bad for your spine. [ 04-27-2005, 09:40 PM: Message edited by: Firestormalpha ]

Woot firestorm your back!
Anyway, 50 pushups is damn good! Anyway, situps aren't bad for your spine, in phys ed we do them all the time, right after windsprints (feel the buuuuurn) and pushups. They looks like this |

Well I've only received 2 retirement checks, so don't feel awkward. Pullups = 12 straight, 15 with a couple seconds break, 20 with a dead weight break. 1 mile run = 14:30 for a 2 mile run. Maybe 6:30 knowing it's only 1. Pushups = 72 for max in the first minute, then another 50 or so for the second minute. Situps = 76 for max in the first minute and half, very rarely more than 80 total. They adjusted the scales a few years back, made it harder on us 'seasoned' soldiers, and lightened the load on the 'cruits'. So, a 18 yr old will do less than a 28 yr old, who will do less than a 38 yr old, who will do more than a 48 yr old. Set your sights for: 12 5:30 65 68 Peace

A mile and a half in 10.30 after a 3/4 mile warmup, so I'm guessing around 5 minutes for the mile? Pushups circa 40, possibly a few more Situps, depends how quickly you do them At least 30-80 depending on how much you want to cheese it
