First of all HI!, I haven't been here for a while but i'm dusting of my W&W and starting up a new game.

I'll have Frodo and Sam -Gnome rouges(would like suggestions)/Aragorn -Human warrior(to be paladin)/legolas -elf warrior( to be ranger)/Gimli -dwarf warrior(to be barbarian) and Gandalf -Human wizard( to be warlock).

Would like help on what to do with hobbits, I can't remember to well. Mabey I'll go have a flick through THE BEST TIPS THREAD.

Welcome back, Chi Master. It's been a while... good to see you.

You might want to search through the forum (and perhaps the forum archive as well). I seem to recall someone else talking about doing a LOTR party, and you may be able to find a few more suggestions.

And in any case, be sure to keep us informed of your game's progress.

I don't have anything to help you out with the hobbits really (maybe make Sam a thief or something?), but I suggest that once you get to the point where someone becomes the Zen Master, it should be Gandalf because he can fight as well as he can cast spells.

Nice to see you back on the board, chi master!!!

Even better that you're starting a new game! Sounds like a good concept for a game, you will have to keep us posted on how it is going.

Not really sure what would be most appropriate for Frodo and Sam - they did a lot of hiding so maybe that would qualify them for ninja? Hobbits have hairy feet - so many monk?? lol!!!

*tries to imagine what the link is between monks and hairy feet... and can't*

Maybe hobbits can be dwarves (they're hairier than monks)... dwarven rogues, going to... ninjas? bards? rangers? Hmmm...
