Darts are not bad for fragile people with divine magic. Since there are no fragile divine spellcasters, they are worthless. Unless you go make a cleric with 4 constitution or less.
And wow, you've been talking to yourself for 12 hours! Maybe we were sleeping
And the only precious stones used in this game for anything are Diamonds and Fire Agates

...and those you will find easily when you need them, so no need to hoard them.

Ok, thank's y'all. I'm just in Hook Horrorville! I think I finished them all off, according to the message.

Just a couple comments.

1. There's nothing wrong with collecting all the gems you come across, but there's little point (with a couple exceptions) in saving any of them. Just toss'em into your gem bags and sell'em when you can.

2. Bozos of Bones, actually darts are even better for strong tanks, odd as that may seem. They are throwing weapons that get the attacker's STR bonus added to the damage. If you're in a situation where you've got the enemy webbed or held or something, and you want to hit them with ranged weapons, tank thrown darts are nice damage producers.

Hey, what do y'all like to do when it comes to weapons? I'm in the underdark with merchants and they have a lot of +3 weapons etc. Some of mine are +1 or +2 but have some type of ability. Which type of weapon do y'all prefer on average?

Me, personally, Id take the +3 anyday, unless the 'ability' is really good, such as increasing AC.

I hoarde all my gems to the underdark and sell them to the best merchant in the game, get a bit more dollars.

I thought the sling was STR based too? Thats what my Tank uses.

this one is definately not supposed to be this way (and isnt so in bg series and nwn).
if it is then it is an oversight/bug.
