Magic Lamp & Solo Quest

I have read several posts about the Magic Lamp. However, I get the impression that you must have more than one character to benefit from this treasure.

If I am playing solo, will my guy be able to use the lamp to his benefit without cheating? I could always just create a character for that portion, but that would sort of ruin my whole play without physical cheats. (Yes I know that getting help from a forum is probably technically knowledge cheating, but hey, this is the first time I didn't buy the hint book for a DWB game)

Is this another area where a solo player might miss out? Are there any others that anyone has run into?

Gee, posting today has been easy. Yesterday I couldn't do anything. Must have to get on this thing early before the work network is bogged down.

Yep, no wishes for the lonely.
If you want to use all 3 charges of the lamp, you even need to create two extra characters. I used a second character as storage space in the Inn, so even though I got all xp myself, I haven't done it completely alone.
One tip (you might have seen in a previous post of mine): you can't do the stout mines in the regular way as warlock: you are not allowed to use a pickaxe.

Oh, by the way, I think not being able to use the lamp with one character falls in the category bugs. And I wouldn't call a workaround for a bug cheating.
Looking here is cheating though.
