Moiraine, our dear sweet friend in France mentioned that she is hoping that you will visit us here at the General Forum. Should you drop by before this thread sinks to the bottom of the SPAM Sea, I would just like to send my greetings and hopes that you will feel comfortable enough here to visit us more often.

(LOL) Hi Relic !
What Strahd said means something like "Hello all ! Guys and gals, how's things ? Well, enough continental French for today, back to old Canadian French !! To the next message !!!"

Er ... I hope I will understand what he says in French, since he is Canadian, and they don't talk exactly like us, you know ... But they use pretty funny expressions, I hope he will teach me some !
Kinda like Aussies vs. Americans

Well actualy the rule of thumb being French Canadian is

A)where France would use body functions like: Merde, Troup du cul... etc
most insults Canadian(french), report to something religius, common Tabarc, Esti, Calisse... etc

B)French Canadian often adopt english words(Depending on the region)Things like, --Ok, Boss c'est comme tu veux--

C)Most expressions in French Canadian remain fairly standart afew words here and there may change. It's not like someone from Marseillle (God to they speak fast) speaking to someone from Paris...

those are the main differences on top of my head, plus this classic French-Canadian joke on the French.

Les Français ôsent dire que les Canadien on une drôle de manière de parler le français! ça venant d'un pays qui apelle leurs amis des potes, leurs enfants des gosses, pis la Renaund 5 une voiture.
