I would like suggestions on Ad&D books. I heard the Wheel of Time and Dragon Lance series were good, but that's about it. I know there are some other good books and series out there too. What are they?

Everything I read, I like, so I would not be much help, but one of the Forgotten Realms Series that I enjoyed most was the Horselords. It is probably outdated by now, so I would suggest this new book that is out, called MageHound by Elaine Cunningham. Anything by her is great, especially if it deals with elves, in particular(Magehound does not...). The Summoning, by Troy Denning is also a great book, starting off a new trilogy that is going to be at the top of the charts. Memnoch can vouch for that one.

Check out The Shannara series by Terry Brooks. I dunno if they are AD&D but htey are good fantasy, Tolkien-like.

Did you read "the Lord of the Rings" by Tolkien? What about Robin Hobb's series? Try them.

if you haven't read the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings yet, you should prolly check them out.

Also, CHECK OUT DRAGONLANCE!!! "eh hem..." *regains composure*. sorry for yelling, but thinking about how godd*mn cool Dragonlance is makes me want to explode.

sorry to say I haven't read any Forgotten Realms books, but there are so many I have no idea which are the core reads.
