I don't know if I like that.
I just don't know what to think. Is this rumor or fact?

I think this is a rumor.I hope so.
IMHO the "original" trilogy shouldn't be touched in any manner.

AFAIK it is a rumour at the moment. There is also one about Jar Jar Binks making a reappearence, but I think that is definitely a rumour. Lucas has let something slip about the story. It's not a big thing, but I won't spoil it for you.

That site that Rudy posted looks like a joke site. If it is not on the Official Star Wars site or in the Star Wars Insider magazine then anywhere else it is not true.

What are they going to call it?

Star Wars:Chapter 6 : Return of the Jedi : Special Edition : Extra Special Edition?

They should just leave well enough alone if you ask me. Oh and anyone who didnt figure out that plot revelation by themselves isnt paying much attention...

Bit late for an april fools anyway, isnt it?

I believe the part about the droids having their memories wiped. Otherwise C3P0 would remember Anakin as his maker and both droids would remember his eventual fall to the dark side. He would surely relay this information to someone in 4,5, or 6 with his big metallic mouth! As far as adding stuff to the original trilogy, it's already been done. Why stop now?

Until it is made public on the website or in the magazine. It is not truth. Just because Lucas says something in and interview does not mean it is going to happen.
