Well, I'm off for the afternoon. The patients are calling, the little darlings.

Question for those who have knowlege about things legal,

How would one go about removing a persons power of attorney ? I have plenty of details if needed pm or other wise, it is of a matter of some importance.

Power of Attorney Info.

Generally:
http://www.legalzoom.com/law_library...roduction.html

In Florida:
http://www.medlawplus.com/library/le...a.tpl?page=poa

Handbook:
http://www.ablelegalforms.com/bookflpow.htm

I don't know if the power of attorney you need to defeat is financial, medical, or what - and I don't want to. You need someone who can (a) see if there is a defect in the PoA, (b) file papers to undo the PoA, and (c) go to court in Florida.

In short, whereas you can *create* a PoA without a lawyer, you WILL NEED a lawyer to undo one AFAIK. I would be surprised otherwise.

Seek legal counsel - search for it at:
www.martindale.com

I'm so sympathetic to your problems, Elif. Absolute best of luck. Definately call a lawyer. Don't forget - fraud in making or inducing one to make documents such as those at issue will always result in a void document. But, fraud is hard to show - very hard.

Good evening, Irongrinder. Don't you know that Johnny doesn't go to bed until he is out of beer?
