A brilliant introduction plan: the other characters find him bound and gagged inside a treasure chest, along with all his stuff.
Yes, this has happened to my characters before. |

I wasn't the one who did that, was I? Because I can't remember, yet I really wish it was me who did it.
PS: Tamora, curse you! You uncovered the secret! His character is actually a paralyzed, psychic midget! |

My first game with neb, I started out trapped in a closet (not in a gay way) with a zombie on the other side, but that was my own idea.

You know, I can't even remember how that happened, but I approve of it.

The second game I ever played, me and my friend were introduced by literally falling out of the sky and landing on the party.

Ah well, but I suppose there's still plenty of chance to stuff you guys into closets, have you tied up or make you fall from the sky. Any volunteers?

So, a bit back someone asked me if it was okay that their character did NOT go along with an obvious plot hook, and let me tell you: It's awesome. In fact, it's more than awesome if you roleplay your character in a way that is true to the character even if it's unprofitable or goes against the obvious flow of the game, because that's real goddamn roleplaying right there.
Props to the players who are currently fighting the obvious plot hook, it's nice to have some capable people this time. |

Fish don't always bite the bait offered and even if they do they can wiggle free.
