Ive had things like that before that combine everything together but they all turned out to be crappy plus i meanly use and but i like msn but not alot of my friends have it.

These things seem to be popular with Linux users because half of them just use there box for IMing, mIRC etc.

I think I'l give it a miss for now. I only use AIM, mIRC and MSN, and won't this thing eat up more resources since it incorporates all the programs?

Nope it doesn't use more resources (at least notable) And you'll only get connected to the programs you want to use and the rest is left out.

as far as I can tell, it uses less resources than having all three im's running. so unless I am wanting to play a game with someone om msn, I just have gaim running [img]smile.gif[/img] and it is a much smaller file size than I expected too....
