Hey 250. You can tell I am the real one by my golden hourglass shaped eyes.

Could you post me a link to that discussion you referred to?

I have played 3 full games, and a lot of games to chapter 2 or three.
Right now I am playing my "NO-RELOAD PARTY", and I think I will play with it to the end.

Of course I know that about Raistlin, just wanted to see if you could tell the difference. I disowned caramon later.

Played through 2 times to the end (Skald and Blade).

Played loads more times up to Chapter 4 or 5. I find sometimes I get irritated by something and give up, and even more times I have an idea I want to try out that JUST CAN'T WAIT!! So I have to go and restart straight away. I always intend to come back to my old save games, but of course I never do!

Jonno's dungeon is a real drag, I seem to have been through it about 30 times - my aim is always to get through it as quickly as possible. Also the long cutscenes - once you've seen them that many times you kinda lose interest!

The game is really great though - it's unusual for something to give me that much fun for so long (apart from Civilisation, my pre-BG addiction).

I definetly did not like the cut scenes in the game. If you were not successful on the first try in some areas it seemed like you spent way too much
time watching the reload and cut scenes compared to the actual fighting. This
was probably one of my major bitches with the design of this game. A way to avoid all that crap would be nice.

I totally agree - most games let you skip the cut-scene by pressing escape - BGI certainly allowed this. Why are we forced to sit through the things? And do the dialogue choices in the dream sequences actually have any effect on the game? (ie. would it hurt to be able to skip them?).

Hell I figure cut scenes are one of the main reasons it takes so long to play,
and the reason my wife hates me playing the game.
