I need a little help from people who have gone far into the game.. what are the best missile weapons around? Reason is, all my characters currently specialise in a missile weapon :

Fighter - modern, now using Blunderbuss
Vi - modern, now using Blunderbuss
Samurai - bow, now using enchanted bow
Sparkle - bow, now using tripleshot crossbow
Gadgeteer - modern, now using omnigun
Ninja - throwing, now using various throwing stuff
Bard - sling, now using doubleshot sling
Bishop - sling, now using wristrocket sling

Now for my questions

1) Are there any better bows for the Samurai? Currently, she could not use any of the good bows I've found recently, like the tripleshot crossbow, demonsting and greenwood bow. I heard that there is a Eagle Eye bow around, someone please tell me (truthfully) that this can be used by a Samurai!

2) Are there any good slings to be found? I am thinking that I perhaps made a mistake to specialise my Bard with slings, seeing that they could actually use the tripleshot crossbow. Should I have gone with bows instead?

I am currently at the Swamp area with my party.

It's really not a problem building skill, you know. Just grab a good bow, go to Arnika, and wander around a bit in there. Train your bard with the bow in relative safety. If you need variety, head out into the countryside for a bit. Sure, it takes extra time, but hell, it's a great game; so who really cares?

There are a number of good bows, unfortunatly all ranger only. I think this was a little overkill. Eagle Eye and teh Elven Bow (but that's only imported) are the two best as far as I can tell, but of course they are ranger only (and the elven bow is elf only.)

doubleshot crossbow and siege arbalest are pretty good
I believe the samurai can only use basic bow.

Hmm..are there any good slings then? Or do they all suck After all, my Gadgeteer can always use the impaling / medusa stones on his omnigun.

I've found a "strong bow" i believe it's called... it has an 85 strength requirement to use! but really powerful, and Sam can use

The samurai can use, among others, the siege arbalest and the hunter's bow. Both are quite nice.
