Nice specimen of the J3 series. It was called 'Jetta' only in the states.

Good luck with the car show arena!

Heh from the front the car looks geeky but from the back it looks cool. That spoiler does give it a very different impression from the back.

Thanks Hive, Felix, Sig, Bristowe, Dave. Do I hear a "what is next?" - well, I'll tell ya.

1) Add chrome wheels
2) Get the most obnoxiously high-wattaged 10-CD changer
3) Swap current headlights with those from a '98 Golf
4) Lower the car
5) Get a new front grille and bigger bumper

Just got myself a new car too... Subaru Impreza RS 2002.... I luuuurve it. Ive never been in so much debt before heh.

Its silver... puuurrty.
Woah, what was the insurance cost on that thing?!?!?
You might be thinking the WRX, I don't think the insurance for an RS would be too much

Still a good car though Dave the Q.
And so's yours Arledrian
Heh, actually, Hive was right. With the WRX... a guy my age couldnt even GET insurance. The RS is the next model down. If I wanted to be the main insurer and regular driver on the car, the insurance cost would have been $3000 per annum. How ridiculous is that.

But because I got my dad to go on the insurance policy saying the car is his, the cost went down to $750 pa. LOL a 56 yo man driving a Subaru RS...well... hed be labelled as compensating. Im just labelled a hoon

Don't listen to him, the spoiler is totally pimpin. Get some 20" rims and you're good to go.

Aelia, love... that's okay - I am my girlfriend's daddies.

LK - it's a serious consideration, man. The thing does 125mph without any tuning whatsoever. My insurance has gone up a bit, but hey, it's for a good cause. I think.

Timber - you rock, man, seriously. That's all I gotta say.
