Bit of a boring computers question.

I need a graphics card for my laptop. Do they sell like cards that can just slot in like WiFi cards??

Laptop specs:

Pent 4 2.0 GHz
256 RAM

Cheers

Generaly, no. Graphics cards for laptops tend to be integrated directly onto the motherboards, and there is no practical way to upgade them. Its not impossible that there is a laptop out there with an upgradable graphics card, but its not a feature Ive ever seen.

Who made your laptop? What model is it? Dell made atleast one laptop that did have the video card as a replaceable item. I think they only made the one video card for that laptop but it was neat they thought about the idea one day you might want to upgrade. If I was betting I would say that you would not beable to upgrade it. 99% of Laptops are not upgradeable.
