Cool Dude

Lordy it is slow here tonight. What are yall staring at? The same threads, maybe give or take a few new ones, that have been here for days. Sad sad it is! Do none of you have anything to say? Just lurking and reading and sighing and bored eh?

Well (thinking heh), what are yall doing for Thanksgiving?? Visiting relatives? Cooking yourself for relatives? None of the above? Don't like turkey? Ever put a raw cleaned-out turkey on your head? Can you smoke a ciggarette and drink a beer at the same time? And would you want too? Do you despise sweet potatoes as much as I do?

Gah, give me something!

LOL Spirits Forever! That's the "spirit!" It's just not the same if nobody puts the turkey over their head, seriously....

Maybe I don’t have anything to say…

I’m having relatives over and cooking for them. Last year when I had someone over for Thanksgiving she didn't eat anything!

Turkey is okay. And no must say I’ve never put a raw cleaned-out turkey on my head, interesting concept. I don’t think I can smoke a cigarette and drink a beer at the same time, never tried though. I kinda like sweet potatoes.

Your going to work on that drawling for me Spirits? Wondered if maybe you'd decided not to do it or something. That would be cool... my signature isn't at it's best right now.

We're driving half-way down the country to spend Thanksgiving at my in-laws. Works out well... my MIL loves to cook, and I love to eat

Got the plug-in TV, we'll get a stash of movies, and we'll plug one quiet-pill after another into the critter and have a nice peaceful trip down south.

Back up... that's a different matter

Thanksgiving... turkey... sweet potatoes... the sound of the youngun's running around Gram-gram's house... The Ancient One (Grandpa ) griping about something and speaking old people giberish... and the annual fight between me and my cousin! I'm hoping to beat him this year. And no, I can't smoke and drink a beer at the same time.

ROTFL! Uh, Hi Wendy! No, can't say's I've ever worn a turkey hat/mask... LOL Did you ever see the "Friends" episode where Monica did it and scared Joey?

We just took our frozen tom turkey out of the freezer to thaw in the fridge til Thursday. We're having dinner at home and will make mashed potatoes and gravy (stuffing too of course!), pumpkin pie, peas, green bean casserole, carrots and cranberry sauce. I can't stand sweet potatoes ...blech or the cranberry sauce, actually but other people like it.

We'll have pickles, cheese and other little snacks for nibbling before the big meal, late in the afternoon.

Hmm.. Have YOU been wearing turkeys lately? Ever? LOL!
